Job summary

PT JAPFA FOOD INDONESIA (Wonoayu) is seeking a senior maintenance leader to oversee a team of technicians and utility operators, ensuring reliable production and compliance with safety standards.

You will plan preventive and corrective maintenance for production machinery, manage spare parts, optimize energy use, monitor budgets, and drive continuous improvement across engineering and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance and utility supervision, preferably in manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, boiler operations.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in CMMS systems.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and environmental compliance.
• Good command of English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and develop a team of maintenance technicians and utility operators.
• Plan, schedule, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities for production machinery, building infrastructure, and utility systems.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and best practices to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
• Manage spare parts inventory, procurement, and ensure the availability of critical components.
• Monitor and analyze utility consumption, identify areas for improvement, and implement energy-saving initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and performance evaluations of equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide expert guidance to the maintenance team.
• Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, track expenditures, and report on maintenance performance metrics.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to support operational goals and new projects.
