Job summary

JAPFA, a leading agribusiness company with operations in Indonesia, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor in East Java (Wonoayu) to lead a team of technicians and ensure reliable production and utility systems. Candidates should have a mechanical or electrical engineering background, at least five years of maintenance supervision, and strong CMMS and safety knowledge.

The role emphasizes proactive maintenance, energy efficiency, and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in maintenance/utility supervision, manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, electrical systems, HVAC, boiler operations.
• Proven leadership and staff development abilities.
• Proficiency with CMMS and safety/environmental regulations.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• Ability to manage priorities under pressure and coordinate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians and utility operators.
• Plan, schedule, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, buildings, and utilities.
• Develop maintenance strategies and procedures to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Manage spare parts inventory and procurement to ensure critical components are available.
• Monitor utility consumption, identify improvements, and implement energy-saving initiatives.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and company policy compliance.
• Perform regular inspections, audits, and performance evaluations of equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and guide the maintenance team.
• Prepare and manage budgets, track expenditures, and report metrics.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments on goals and projects.
