Job summary

bp is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to provide frontline process-engineering support for LNG production, focusing on troubleshooting, performance monitoring, analysis, optimization and process safety. You will lead incidents, drive risk-based decisions and mentor junior engineers.

The role requires 15+ years in oil and gas process engineering, strong LNG expertise, and proficiency with Aspen HYSYS; hybrid work model in Jakarta area is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years of process-engineering experience in oil and gas.
• Strong LNG onshore-processing understanding.
• Proficient in Aspen HYSYS and process calculations.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline process-engineering support for safe, reliable LNG production.
• Lead process troubleshooting during steady-state and upset conditions.
• Perform heat/mass balances, hydraulic evaluations and equipment assessments.
• Validate changes using engineering justification.
• Mentor engineers and share best practices.
