Job summary

Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a Multinational Renewable Energy Company for the role of Legal Executive to be based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The role covers legal advisory, project support, and corporate secretarial duties across governance, compliance, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B) from a reputable university.
• Licensed legal practitioner/advocate qualification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian corporate, commercial, regulatory, and contract law.
• 5-8 years of relevant legal experience in energy, infrastructure, renewable energy, construction, manufacturing, investment, or multinational companies.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing various commercial agreements.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance to internal stakeholders and project teams on business operations and development initiatives.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial and project agreements (development, procurement, construction, operational).
• Advise on corporate, commercial, regulatory laws to ensure compliance and support business objectives.
• Support negotiation processes with customers, partners, vendors, investors, and counterparties.
• Conduct due diligence, review transaction documents, manage contractual matters, and handle land, licensing, and project-related issues.
• Coordinate with government authorities, regulators, and external advisors for approvals and compliance.
• Manage relationships with external counsel, consultants, and service providers.
• Provide legal support for financing activities, corporate transactions, restructuring, and M&A when required.
• Provide day-to-day corporate matters support (contracts, confidentiality agreements, leases).
• Support dispute management and regulatory compliance within the organization.
• Assist with corporate governance matters and regulatory filings.
