Job summary

Fithub is seeking a Senior Legal Associate - Operation and Permits to oversee licensing and permitting matters and ensure regulatory compliance across operations. The role involves coordinating with government authorities and internal teams to resolve issues, draft and review essential documents, and conduct regulatory research.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in legal compliance, disputes, and government relations, with excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.
• At least 4 years of experience.
• Experience in legal disputes and licenses & permits.
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders in English is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee license and permit matters including operational issues.
• Provide legal services including advisory, drafting & review of documents, legal analysis and risk identification.
• Monitor law and regulatory changes related to company activities.
• Act as a legal business partner balancing business needs and compliance.
• Assist the business with existing and new initiatives.
• Handle filing, trackers and administration of legal documents.
• Stay current with laws affecting the company’s industry and operations.
• Review and revise legal documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain case files and documentation and ensure records are up-to-date.
• Assist the Legal Team with ad-hoc legal tasks.
