Job summary

Mitrabangun.Id is seeking a Lead Structural Engineer to lead design and oversight for commercial construction projects in Pekanbaru, Riau. You will drive seismic and wind design, review drawings, and mentor the structural team to ensure safety and quality.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Structural Engineering, PE license, 12+ years in the field (5+ in lead roles), and strong skills in ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro and CAD.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering is required.
• PE certification is mandatory.
• At least 12 years in structural engineering with 5+ in lead roles.
• Proficiency in ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro and CAD tools.
• Strong knowledge of building codes (SNI) and construction techniques.
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience managing large-scale commercial projects.
• Experience in Riau province is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed structural designs for commercial buildings, ensuring seismic and wind design requirements.
• Conduct structural analysis and calculations with advanced engineering software.
• Review architectural and structural drawings for constructability and compliance.
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to the structural engineering team.
• Oversee the selection of materials and construction methods for structural elements.
• Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and site supervisors.
• Perform site inspections to verify structural integrity during construction phases.
• Manage project timelines and budgets related to structural engineering tasks.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports and documentation for project stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in structural engineering technologies and best practices.
