Job summary

AVOWS CONSULTING LIMITED in Jakarta (WFO) seeks a senior Java developer to build and evolve fintech/banking backend systems using Java, Spring, and microservices alongside robust SQL databases.

You will troubleshoot legacy applications, tune JVM performance, and work with Kafka, RabbitMQ, JMS, Redis, Docker, and Kubernetes in a Linux environment. Strong English communication and AI project experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Java development with Spring Framework, Microservices, Design Patterns and SQL databases.
• Experience analyzing, troubleshooting, and enhancing legacy applications, including JVM/concurrency tuning.
• Hands-on with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, JMS, Redis), Linux, scripting, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of software engineering principles, development tools (Git/SVN), CI/CD (Jenkins/GitLab CI) and distributed logging (ELK/Splunk).
• AI-related project experience is highly preferred and English communication skills are required.

Job description
