Job summary

AVOWS CONSULTING LIMITED is seeking an experienced backend engineer in Jakarta to develop core systems using Java Spring Boot. You will design secure RESTful APIs, implement Spring Security, and contribute to microservices architecture with distributed systems and high-performance backends.

You will also work on containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), implement CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI), and help with logging/monitoring (ELK, Splunk).

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in core system development using Java Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience in RESTful API design and secure backend implementation.
• Deep understanding of Spring Security, batch processing concepts, and secure configuration practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop core backend services using Java Spring Boot.
• Implement secure RESTful APIs with proper authentication and authorization.
• Develop and maintain microservices architectures and distributed systems.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Configure and monitor logging and telemetry with ELK/Splunk.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and ensure timely delivery.

Job description

• Have 5 years experience in core system development using Java Spring Boot.
• Hands‑on experience in RESTful API design and secure backend implementation.
• Deep understanding of Spring Security, batch processing concepts, and secure configuration practices.
• Expertise in messaging systems such as JMS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Redis.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and high-performance backend development.
• Proficient with containers & orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with Configuration Management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Experience in Logging & Monitoring using ELK Stack, Splunk, or similar platforms.
• Ability to write and perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting production issues.
