Job summary

PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia is seeking a Data Cruncher & Inventory Demand Forecaster to transform large operational and inventory data into actionable insights, improving availability and reducing excess stock across subsidiaries.

You will collaborate with operations, procurement, warehousing, logistics, and management to forecast material requirements, optimize working capital, and support business planning in asset-intensive industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in demand planning or analytics.
• Experience in asset-intensive industries (mining/industrial).
• Strong knowledge of MRP, forecasting, and supply chain analytics.
• Proficient with Excel, data modeling, and large datasets.
• Experience with SAP/Oracle/Microsoft Dynamics ERP systems.
• Knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and analyze large datasets from multiple sites and warehouses.
• Develop and maintain demand forecasting models for inventory categories.
• Monitor inventory performance and lead times to improve planning accuracy.
• Calculate safety stock, reorder points, EOQ, and optimization parameters.
• Design dashboards and reports showing inventory health and risks.
• Identify inefficiencies and working capital optimization opportunities.
• Support procurement with forecasting insights and planning strategies.
• Collaborate with warehousing, logistics, operations, and supply chain teams.
• Support MRP processes and alignment between forecast and procurement.
• Review data quality and reporting accuracy in ERP systems.
• Present findings and recommendations to management and executives.
