Job summary
APRIL in Indonesia seeks an experienced Instrument Engineer for the Paper Machine area, focusing on analyzer and process control systems.
You will maintain and optimize online analyzers, QCS, and instrumentation, conduct RCA-driven improvements, and collaborate with Production and Quality teams to enhance product quality and reduce downtime.
Role requires 5–10 years in instrumentation and control in process industries, with hands-on experience in DCS/PLC/SCADA and vendor systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in instrumentation/related field.
- 5–10 years in Instrumentation & Control Engineering in Paper Mill/Process Industry.
- Experience with Paper Machine instrumentation and automation systems preferred.
- Strong knowledge of online analyzers, QCS, basis weight & moisture measurement.
- Ability to troubleshoot analyzers and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize instrumentation systems in Paper Machine areas.
- Ensure reliability and accuracy of process measurement instruments (pressure, temperature, flow, level).
- Maintain online analyzers and QCS equipment to support product quality control.
- Conduct RCA and implement corrective/preventive actions to improve equipment reliability.
