Job summary
bp is seeking an Instrument & Control Engineer to provide instrument and control expertise for integrated field instrumentation, control, safeguarding and communication systems supporting Tangguh LNG. You will drive maintenance strategies, participate in risk assessments and support brownfield projects with live-plant integration.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Physics Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years instrument engineering experience in oil and gas.
- Experience with ICSS platforms and industrial control systems.
- Familiar with risk assessment processes and safety standards.
- Proven troubleshooting in plant upset and incident investigations.
Responsibilities
- Provide frontline engineering support for normal operations, startup and shutdowns.
- Develop maintenance tasks and SAP PM strategies using reliability data.
- Lead RCFA investigations and drive corrective actions.
- Own instrument strategies and manage obsolescence.
- Ensure MOC and brownfield modifications with live-plant tie-ins.
- Coach engineers and support continuous improvement.
