Job summary

Kredivo Group is seeking Senior Backend engineers to join its R&D center in Jakarta, Indonesia. You will design and implement backend services and work with product and business teams to deliver scalable solutions.

You will mentor junior engineers and leverage AWS-based microservices and event-driven architecture to drive performance and reliability in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Mentor junior engineers for at least 2 years.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms and CS fundamentals.
• Strong foundation in object oriented programming (mainly Python).
• Good understanding of microservices and event-driven programming.
• Experience with IAAS/SAAS/PAAS in AWS environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services.
• Collaborate with Product, Business and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Write high quality, maintainable code and modernization of the tech stack.
• Own parts of the system and continuously improve it in various aspects based on monitoring best practices.
• Participate in design discussions, reviews and propose/implement solutions to technical problems and challenges.

The team is responsible for developing new product functionality for Kredivo, build scalable services and tools using open source frameworks/cloud infrastructure and integrate machine learning models for real-time credit scoring and fraud detection. Candidates should have strong background in developing scalable microservices using event driven architecture.

• Good understanding of microservices architecture and event driven programming paradigm
• Know all best practice about server communication and the usage of it
• Experience and strong foundation in IAAS, SAAS, PAAS in AWS environment
• Good attitude to share engineering best practice in the team
