Job summary

ib vogt GmbH is seeking a skilled Grid Solutions Manager – Senior (EPC) in Jakarta. You will lead the engineering and design of grid connections for utility-scale PV and BESS projects, coordinate with consultants, and ensure energization and handover to O&M.

The role requires extensive Indonesian grid experience, English fluency, and strong project management within an international setting. The candidate will work in a hybrid setup, collaborating with global teams, and contribute to winning

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree or equivalent with a focus on energy technology.
• 8+ years in grid connection or related projects.
• International project management experience in grid connections for PV/BESS.
• Strong understanding of energy technology and related civil/electromechanical work.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of Indonesian Grid Code and grid compliance standards.
• Experience with simulation/CAD tools (PowerFactory, PSS/E, CAD) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and design of grid connections for utility-scale PV/BESS projects.
• Manage external engineering consultants and coordinate with the on-site team.
• Support project development with technical expertise during early stages and market entry.
• Define tender specifications for interconnection infrastructure and equipment.
• Coordinate with utilities and stakeholders worldwide for technical discussions.
• Prepare and manage documentation for management, clients, lenders and advisers.
• Ensure grid energization and handover to Operations & Maintenance.
