Job summary

APP Group in Indonesia is seeking a senior communications and public affairs professional to manage government relations and policy advocacy while leading media engagement. You will build relationships with state and local legislators, agencies, and industry bodies, and serve as a spokesperson for the organization.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, a related Bachelor's degree, and excellent writing and speaking skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communication, Public Relations, Public Administration, Political Science or relevant studies
• 10+ years of relevant work experience in communication, media relations, or public relations
• Ability to collaborate with remote teams and stakeholders
• Strong judgment, political acumen, and strategic thinking
• Fluent English; Mandarin a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with state and local legislators and agency staff
• Represent the organization at coalition meetings, partner meetings and briefings
• Act as spokesperson and develop relationships with stakeholders and media members
• Monitor public opinion and media coverage to advise senior management
• Align corporate messaging with regulatory guidelines and public interests
