Job summary

GoTo Group seeks a seasoned Head of Public Affairs to lead external positioning, media strategy, and regulatory engagement across Indonesia and Southeast Asia. You will report to the Chief of Public Affairs, Policy & Government Relations, bridging regulatory goals with legislative engagement, media strategy, and public sentiment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in public affairs, government relations, or strategic advocacy.
• 8+ years in a senior leadership role at tech/platform or multinational.
• Current relationships with Indonesian DPR members and staff and experience with legislative processes.
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English with deep Indonesia political/media understanding.
• Tier-1 national and international media relationships; crisis comms experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead external positioning, media strategy, and regulatory engagement for GoTo in Indonesia and SE Asia.
• Translate regulatory matters into clear government-facing positioning; manage crisis communications.
• Build and manage relationships with parliament members and staff; represent GoTo in hearings and consultations.
• Develop advocacy across industry associations and coalitions; align with regulatory strategy.
• Prepare executives for parliamentary hearings, media engagements, keynotes, and panels.
• Monitor sentiment trends to advise leadership on opportunities and risks.
