Worley is seeking a Lead Design Chemical Engineer to join our Indonesia team. The role focuses on managing FEED, engineering standards, and safety for geothermal power facilities.

The ideal candidate has extensive geothermal plant design experience and will lead technical activities across projects. We value a strong background in process design and ability to deliver disciplined engineering documentation, drawings, and specifications for complex energy systems.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in Geothermal Brine Power Plant.
• Experience in power or oil & gas plant design and specification of geothermal power plant.

Responsibilities

• Develop preliminary designs and specifications for power plant and SAGS.
• Prepare performance-based EPC contract documents for power plants.
• Conduct tender evaluations and design reviews; participate in factory acceptance tests.
• Provide engineering discipline applying science, technology and industrial practices for chemical design focusing on sulphur, silica, and acid.
• Develop process simulation models to determine optimal production methods and create PFDs, P&IDs, and process datasheets.
• Coordinate with internal customers to ensure functional requirements and acceptance criteria are met.
• Ensure safety engineering meets company requirements, regulations and good practices for design, reliability, and operability.
• Lead and advise field construction teams; standardize best practices and lessons learned.
• Coordinate with team on design reviews, maintenance programs and approvals from stakeholders.
• Ensure FEED documents (standards, drawings, layouts) are implemented.
