Job summary

Sephora SEA seeks a Senior General Ledger Accountant to own core GL processes, reporting to the Finance Controlling Manager for Shared Services. You will ensure accuracy of financial operations and drive timely financial reporting and audit support.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain IFRS compliance, and support statutory submissions. Strong Excel and SAP experience, plus Big 4 exposure, are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required or preferred for CPA/CA track.
• English fluency is required for communication with teams and audits.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, ideally in a Big 4 environment.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP).
• Highly analytical with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations to maintain accuracy of the general ledger, including fixed assets, inventory, and accruals.
• Support monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting in a timely manner.
• Prepare audit schedules and assist with inquiries; support drafting audited financial statements.
• Prepare statutory compliance submissions including audits, tax, and secretarial tasks.
• Ensure all transactions comply with IFRS and Group Internal Control Policies.
