Technical Development & Garment Construction
- Manage end-to-end sample development from initial sketches and concepts through final production-ready samples.
- Develop and review patterns with a strong understanding of garment construction, fit, drape, and functionality.
- Analyze fitting feedback and translate comments into clear technical adjustments and production solutions.
- Lead fitting sessions by evaluating measurements, identifying construction issues, and recommending improvements.
- Apply strong technical knowledge across various garment categories, including woven, jersey, activewear, knitwear, and intimate apparel.
- Understand fabric behavior, including stretch, recovery, shrinkage, finishing, stitch structure, and performance characteristics.
- Coordinate fabric testing processes, including shrinkage, stretch recovery, colorfastness, and durability testing to ensure production quality.
Pattern Making & Grading
- Create and modify digital patterns based on design concepts, technical requirements, and production needs.
- Apply knowledge of fit, ease, movement, and body proportions to achieve consistent garment performance.
- Review and improve grading accuracy across size ranges based on fitting feedback and production requirements.
- Optimize patterns to improve fit consistency, efficiency, and manufacturability.
Technical Documentation & Product Accuracy
- Prepare, maintain, and update technical documentation, including tech packs, specification sheets, bills of materials (BOM), fitting comments, and revision records.
- Ensure all technical information is accurate, complete, and clearly communicated to manufacturing partners.
- Communicate technical adjustments, corrections, and production requirements effectively with suppliers and factories.
Sample Development & Production Coordination
- Monitor sample development progress throughout all stages, ensuring timelines and revisions are properly managed.
- Collaborate with manufacturers to resolve technical challenges while considering production capabilities, minimum order quantities (MOQ), construction complexity, and cost implications.
- Support fabric consumption calculations and provide technical input for costing discussions.
- Prepare samples and technical materials for fittings, reviews, and production handover.
Leadership & Team Support
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technical team members.
- Support continuous improvement of technical development processes and standards.
- Manage multiple development projects across different product categories while maintaining quality and timelines.
- Serve as a technical resource for design, product development, and production teams.
Tracking & Reporting
- Maintain detailed development records, including fitting photos, revision histories, sample progress, and technical updates.
- Ensure development trackers and documentation systems remain accurate and up to date.
- Provide clear progress reporting and communicate risks or delays proactively.

Job Requirements
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in garment technical development, pattern making, and product development.
- Advanced knowledge of garment construction, fitting processes, and manufacturing techniques.
- Strong expertise in pattern making across woven, jersey, knitwear, activewear, and intimate apparel categories.
- Deep understanding of grading principles, measurements, and size consistency improvement.
- Ability to independently create and manage technical packs and product specifications.
- Proficiency in CLO 3D, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong proficiency in Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of sustainable materials, responsible manufacturing processes, certifications, recycled fibers, and low-impact production methods.
- Strong understanding of garment costing, fabric consumption, and production feasibility.
- Experience mentoring or supervising junior technical development team members.
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
