Job summary

PT WANHE GARMENT INDONESIA is seeking a seasoned Merchandiser Supervisor to manage the end-to-end merchandising process for H&M products, from product development and sampling to costing, bulk production, and shipment.

You will serve as the primary liaison between the H&M buyer and internal teams to ensure product specifications, quality, pricing, and delivery schedules are met, while monitoring sample approvals, material readiness, T&A calendars, and production progress to guarantee on-time

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Management, Industrial Engineering, Fashion Design, Textile Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the garment industry, with at least 2–3 years in a Merchandiser Supervisor or equivalent position.
• Must have direct experience handling H&M products and managing buyer requirements.
• Strong knowledge of garment merchandising processes, including product development, sampling, costing, order management, material sourcing, production follow-up, and shipment.
• Good understanding of garment construction, fabric and trims, technical specifications, measurement charts, fitting comments, and sample approval processes.
• Proven ability to manage Time and Action (T&A) calendars, monitor production progress, and ensure on-time shipment.
• Good knowledge of H&M quality standards, product safety, chemical compliance, traceability, and sustainability requirements relevant to assigned products.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and team management skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English for buyer communication and business correspondence.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP systems or merchandising management systems.
• Mandarin language proficiency is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end merchandising process for H&M products, from product development and sampling to costing, bulk production, and shipment.
• Serve as the key liaison between the H&M buyer and internal departments to ensure product specifications, quality standards, pricing, and delivery schedules are met.
• Monitor sample approvals, material readiness, T&A calendars, and production progress to ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensure products and related documentation comply with H&M's technical specifications, quality standards, and applicable buyer compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve issues related to product development, materials, production, quality, and shipment.
• Lead and develop the merchandising team, monitor team performance, and report order status and achievement of targets to management.
