Job summary

Ultra Voucher is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable backend and frontend applications. The role emphasizes building production-grade systems with Node.js/NestJS and React/Next.js, implementing microservice architectures, and optimizing data models across SQL/NoSQL databases.

The position requires mentoring junior engineers, collaborating with stakeholders, and delivering robust API documentation and secure API integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5–8+ years of professional experience as a Fullstack Engineer or in an equivalent role.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and NestJS, with proven experience building production-grade backend systems.
• Deep expertise in React and Next.js, including state management (Redux or Zustand), SSR/SSG, and frontend architecture.
• Has deep ability in Golang.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB), including data modelling and query optimisation.
• Extensive experience with microservice architecture, message queues (Kafka or RabbitMQ), and distributed systems.
• Proven experience with Redis caching strategies, including distributed caching and cache invalidation.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design, GraphQL, and API security best practices (OAuth, JWT).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and lead technical initiatives.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or loyalty/rewards systems is highly preferred.
