ALTO Network is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to develop and optimize payment-related systems. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable applications using Java, C++, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with RESTful APIs and distributed architectures.

Collaborating with product, UX/UI, and operations teams, you will ensure system reliability, performance, and compliance across production environments.

Qualifications

• Over 4 years of proven experience in software development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Science, or Computer Science.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Description Role Purpose Development Responsibilities:

• Develop and configure systems/applications based on requirements provided by the product team.
• Support testing and certification processes to ensure system readiness and compliance.

Maintenance Responsibilities:

• Assist the Application Support team in monitoring systems/applications in the production environment.
• Collaborate with the Application Support team to troubleshoot production issues.
• Monitor, analyze, and resolve production issues to ensure system stability and reliability.

Knowledge

• Fullstack, Mastery on:
• Language: Java/C++, Javascript, Typescript
• DB: PostgreSQL
• Knowledge: RESTful APIs, ATM/POS/Switching/Core Banking System.
• Framework/Library: Next.js, React.js
• CSS preprocessor languages: SCSS/SASS
• Nice to have: ISO20022, UI Prototyping for UI/UX mockup, Node.js, golang
• Deep understanding of software architecture and design patterns (e.g., MVC, Microservices, Middleware Integration, Event-driven architecture, Caching, Parallel Programming).
• Experience with modern development tools, such as version control (e.g. Git), CI/CD, and automated testing tools
• Experience in designing and managing large databases and distributed systems.

Non-technical

• Collaborate with other teams (e.g. product teams, UX/UI, and project managers) to plan and design features and solutions.
• Provide Insight and Contribute to the software development process, seeking ways to improve the team's efficiency and effectiveness in producing high-quality software.
• Understand and comply with SDLC best practices.

Technical

• Involved in system design and Architecture (Create and oversee the architectural design of scalable, efficient, and maintainable systems. Ensure the resulting code meets high quality standards).
• Deep understanding of the product (business use case, specification, transaction flow, technical stack).
• Problem solving (Identify, analyze and resolve complex technical problems requiring a deep understanding of the technology and systems used) and propose potential solutions.
• Implement complex features often involving external system integration, performance optimization, or highly technical problem solving.
• Research, propose and implement new technologies or tools updates that can improve application performance and functionality.
• Peer review and collaborate (review teammate's code to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to development standards to achieve optimal results.)
• Ensure the code is functioning properly and meets quality standards by using self and unit test.
