Job summary

Under Armour in Cirebon is seeking a Sr. Professional Sourcing Engineer Footwear to oversee development, commercialization (MST), costing, production, and QA for key footwear products with Tier 1 factories.

You will guide engineering during development, ensure on-time production, and uphold product integrity. Preferred candidates have a deep understanding of footwear manufacturing, strong English communication, and the ability to mentor factory teams on UA standards across Asia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experience.
• 10 years of related work experience with no degree.
• Understanding of footwear manufacturing—Pattern engineering, mold making, and material processing.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence in English.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with good teamwork and IT knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate product engineering during development and commercialization with Tier 1 factories.
• Collaborate with factory teams to achieve category development and design specifications emphasizing performance and integrity.
• Provide expert coaching and mentor to Factory teams on Category and Under Armour Best Practices, including cross functional teams.
• Elevate any potential risks that may affect product quality or delivery timelines to the manager and category leader.
• Lead the new last development & validation at style level and work with Asia engineering, HQ counterpart.
