Job summary

Under Armour seeks a Senior Professional Sourcing Engineer Footwear in Central Jakarta to oversee development, commercialization, costing, production and quality at partner factories. You will ensure on-time delivery of high‑quality footwear and provide cross‑functional leadership across engineering, manufacturing and QA teams.

You will coach factory staff on best practices, manage commercialization tracking, and work with Asia engineering and HQ to maintain UA standards while mitigating risks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience
• Or 10 years of related work experience with no degree
• Understand of footwear manufacturing - Pattern engineer, mold making, material processing etc.
• Ability to write report and business correspondence in English
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from UA HQ and partners
• Strong problem solver and ability to define problem, collect data for improvement
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and good teamwork
• IT knowledge

Responsibilities

• Facilitate product engineering during development and commercialization activities with Tier 1 factories and cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with factory direct teams to achieve category development and design specs.
• Coach Factory teams on UA Best Practices and cross-functional standards.
• Elevate risks affecting quality or delivery timelines to management.
• Ensure model size trials follow policies and MST/EST/FST calendars for on-time production.
• Provide technical support to development, planning, costing, tooling and chemical teams.
• Lead new last development and validation at style level with Asia engineering and HQ.
• Drive CTS with T1 factories and ensure data accuracy and timely uploads.
