Job summary

Funding Societies | Modalku in Jakarta is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to own the controllership function for Indonesia operations. You will oversee end-to-end corporate accounting, tax compliance, regulatory reporting, and audit management across P2P lending, balance sheet lending, and multi-finance businesses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA Indonesia / ACCA or Tax Brevet A+B required.
• 10-12 years total experience: minimum 2 years in Big 4 / mid-tier audit, then 5+ years in-house controllership.
• Hands-on Indonesian statutory reporting, OJK regulatory submissions, and tax compliance.
• Solid PSAK (Indonesian GAAP) and IFRS knowledge applicable to financial services.
• IFRS 9 ECL provisioning experience is a plus for lending book complexity.
• Experience managing month-end close cycles and balance sheet reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end controllership; supervise close, sign off P&L and balance sheet.
• Ensure reconciled balance sheet with supporting schedules; no unreconciled items.
• Regulatory and tax compliance; coordinate with authorities and audits.
• Lead external audit process and group consolidation for entities.
• Build and develop the accounting team; set expectations and coach staff.
