Job summary

Funding Societies | Modalku is seeking a Finance professional to lead the Accounting team as an Associate Manager in Jakarta. You will oversee day-to-day accounting, month-end closings, and regulatory reporting, while coordinating with FP&A, Tax, and external auditors.

You will drive process improvements, maintain strong internal controls, and develop a high-performing team in a fast-paced fintech environment. Fluency in English and knowledge of PSAK/IFRS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from a reputable university.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience, with 1–2 years in supervisory capacity.
• Strong hands-on experience in full-set accounting and month-end closing.
• Experience in financial services/fintech or regulated industries preferred.
• Familiar with PSAK/Indonesian accounting standards; IFRS is an advantage.
• Experience coordinating with external auditors and supporting statutory audits.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills; good communication with regional stakeholders.
• Good command of English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting activities and ensure timely, accurate recording of transactions.
• Coordinate monthly close, schedules, and deliverables.
• Review journal entries, accruals, and supporting documentation.
• Oversee P&L and Balance Sheet accounts; investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure reconciliation of material balance sheet accounts and proper documentation.
• Support OJK regulatory reporting and tax compliance.
• Coordinate with auditors and support audit processes.
• Lead and develop the Accounting team and ensure timely deliverables.
• Identify process improvements in controls and reporting.
