Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation seeks a Thermal Customer Engineer in Jakarta to maintain and repair our Thermal Management products and contracted systems. You will establish and maintain strong rapport with customers, sales managers, distributors, and scheduling teams while coordinating with the department manager.

Key duties include responding professionally to service calls, adhering to safety policies, and ensuring on-time maintenance completion.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 1 & 2 or equivalent in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
• City and Guilds 2078 or 2079 in Refrigerant Safe Handling, subscribed to ACRIB.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Previous environmental service experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Self-starter with ability to plan, organize and manage time effectively.
• Clean valid driving license.

Responsibilities

• Respond professionally to all assigned service calls while on duty.
• Perform work safely and per company safety policy.
• Follow current codes of practice and legislation relevant to tasks.
• Help maintain planned maintenance completion rate at a minimum 90%.
• Keep scheduling team informed of changes to schedule and status of open jobs.
• Maintain accuracy of customer listing and report errors with site change form.
• Close tasks in Oracle Mobile Field Service and complete weekly paperwork.
• Create reports using FieldDB and ensure regular synchronization.
• Report sales or service leads to proper department via correct process.
• Support company vision and management decisions.
• Use email and Office programs to enhance communications.
• Follow Vertiv processes.
• Keep company vehicle clean and maintained.
• Protect tooling and company property.
• Work as part of the service team and support business needs.
• Take an active role in the callout rota.

Thermal Customer Engineer:

• Responsible for maintenance and emergency repairs of Vertiv's Thermal Management products as well as other contracted systems. He/She is required to establish, promote and maintain excellent rapport with all customers, sales managers, distributors and others within the field; maintain ongoing communication with scheduling teams and the line/department Manager
