Job summary

PT Zimmoah Marine Trans is seeking an Export Import Manager to lead end-to-end freight forwarding operations from Surabaya. You will coordinate with customers, shipping lines, customs brokers and vendors to ensure on-time shipments and cost efficiency.

The role requires 5+ years in export/import logistics with supervisory experience, strong knowledge of Indonesian customs, and solid English communication. You will drive process improvements and ensure strict compliance with SOPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any major related to the field.
• Minimum 5 years of Export Import / Logistics experience in a freight forwarding company with supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of Export Import processes, freight forwarding, domestic logistics and customs procedures.
• Good knowledge of Indonesian customs regulations and applicable export import requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English is preferred.
• Able to work effectively both independently and as a part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead end-to-end export and import operations.
• Coordinate and maintain relationships with customers, shipping lines, airlines, customs brokers/PPJK, agents, vendors and other stakeholders.
• Monitor operational KPIs, identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with export/import procedures, customs regulations and SOPs.
• Monitor costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency without sacrificing service quality.
• Handle escalations and provide solutions to shipment, documentation, customs and delivery issues.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
