Job summary

Eramet Indonesia is seeking a Senior Exploration Geologist to lead mineral exploration activities with a focus on copper, nickel, and lithium opportunities across Indonesia. The role entails planning targets, evaluating projects, coordinating field campaigns, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of mineral exploration experience, strong geological modelling skills, and fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geological Engineering or a related discipline.
• Advanced knowledge of hydrothermal deposits.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Advanced proficiency with geological software (e.g. ArcGIS).

Responsibilities

• Generate greenfield exploration targets using geological, geochemical, geophysical and geomorphological data.
• Develop conceptual geological models to guide exploration planning.
• Coordinate and execute field activities, including mapping, sampling and drilling.
• Ensure exploration activities are conducted safely, within budget and in line with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate contractors and manage data and reporting.
