Job summary

Austin Engineering Ltd in Indonesia is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial, industrial, and civil construction projects. You will review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project requirements and perform quantity take-offs and pricing analysis.

You will lead bid preparation, coordinate schedules, mentor junior estimators, and provide technical guidance throughout the estimating cycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, quantity surveying, or related field preferred.
Minimum 8 years of construction estimating experience.
3+ years in a senior or lead estimating role.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, equipment, and procurement practices.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial, industrial, and civil construction projects.
Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project requirements.
Perform quantity take-offs and pricing analysis.
Develop conceptual, preliminary, and final estimates.
Collaborate with project managers, operations teams, engineers, and clients.
Lead bid preparation and submission processes.
Supervise and mentor estimators and junior estimating staff.
Identify value-engineering opportunities and cost-saving alternatives.
