Job summary
Mott Macdonald is seeking a Senior/Principal Engineer to join our energy practice focusing on Energy & Technical Advisory in Seoul, South Korea. This senior technical and client-facing role combines engineering, technical advisory and project leadership across renewable energy projects in Korea and the wider Asia-Pacific region.

Qualifications
- A relevant engineering degree.
- Around 10+ years' engineering experience.
- Experience in renewable energy or power infrastructure.
- Strong client-facing capability.
- Experience with TDD, LTA, or Owner's Engineer assignments would be advantageous.
- Fluent English language capability.
Responsibilities
- Lead feasibility studies and design reviews.
- Coordinate inputs across civil, structural, geotechnical, electrical, mechanical and grid disciplines.
- Lead or support Technical Due Diligence (TDD), Lenders' Technical Advisory (LTA), Owner's Engineer and Independent Technical Advisor assignments.
- Identify and advise clients on technical, cost, programme, constructability and performance risks.
- Review CAPEX/OPEX assumptions and EPC arrangements, grid connection and O&M strategies.
- Provide clear, commercially relevant technical advice to developers, investors, lenders and asset owners.
