Job summary

Agoda is seeking an experienced Senior Employee Relations Consultant to join our Global Employee Relations team. You will act as an escalation partner, translating policy into practical guidance and strengthening ER governance across our global operations.

You will collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and HR partners to address complex workforce matters, risks, and policy improvements while maintaining discretion and integrity in handling sensitive issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in Employee Relations or related HR roles in large, complex organizations.
• Experience advising on complex or precedent-setting employee relations matters without direct operational ownership.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation, employee relations, and industrial relations practices.
• Experience developing or governing employment policies, decision frameworks, or assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide Senior ER Consultation to ER Services, HR Partners, and leaders.
• Translate employment legislation into scalable, practical guidance across markets.
• Strengthen ER governance, standards, templates, and decision frameworks.
• Conduct thematic or risk-based reviews of ER practices and control effectiveness.
• Advise on restructures, collective matters, and policy exceptions.
• Support union engagement, collective consultation, and dispute guidance.
• Monitor regulatory risk, trends, and remediation priorities.
• Develop ER toolkits, FAQs, and training to build capability.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and People Analytics on audits and improvements.
