PT. OKI Pulp & Paper Mills seeks a Specialist Instrument Maintenance to lead instrumentation and control systems across our South Sumatra mills.

The role combines hands-on technical work with supervisory responsibilities, ensuring reliability and performance of all instrumentation assets. You will oversee calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting, mentor technicians, and collaborate with process engineers to optimise control strategies while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Competenze

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical, Electronic, or Instrumentation engineering.
• Strong supervisory/leadership experience.
• 5–8 years in instrumentation and control in manufacturing environments.
• Experience with PLC and SCADA technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Indonesian and English.
• Willingness to travel within facility and surroundings.

Mansioni

• Oversee installation, calibration, maintenance and repair of instrumentation and control systems throughout the mill facilities.
• Supervise instrumentation technicians and mentor staff.
• Inspect equipment to identify issues before production impact.
• Develop preventative maintenance schedules to minimise downtime.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation problems using diagnostics and best practices.
• Collaborate with production and process engineering to optimise instrumentation setups.
• Prepare maintenance records, schematics and troubleshooting reports.
• Ensure safety regulations and standards are met for all instrumentation work.
• Manage budgets, procurement and spare parts inventory for instrumentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement to enhance reliability.
