Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

• Good knowledge of plumbing and fire protection system design and installation.
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of hydraulic calculations and fire-fighting system calculations is preferred.
• Good communication, coordination, problem-solving, and site management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and review plumbing and fire-fighting systems.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, design calculations, material submittals, and technical documents.
• Coordinate plumbing and fire-fighting works with architectural, structural, electrical, HVAC, and other MEP disciplines.
• Supervise site installation and ensure works are executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor material delivery, installation progress, workmanship, and resource requirements.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of plumbing and fire-fighting systems.
• Prepare and review method statements, inspection and test plans.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Identify technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable local regulations, project requirements, and relevant standards.
• Monitor project progress and support the project team in achieving cost, quality, and schedule targets.
• Maintain proper documentation and technical records.
• Support testing, authority inspections, handover, and final project documentation
