Job summary

Haskoning invites a Senior Decarbonization Consultant to advise industrial clients on energy efficiency, decarbonization, and sustainable generation. You lead multidisciplinary projects, translate data insights into concrete proposals, and report to the Netherlands-based manager.

You combine technical depth with business sense, recruit and coach team members, travel occasionally, and contribute to local and international projects from Jakarta.

Qualifications

• You hold a technical university degree and demonstrate strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• You have at least 10 years of experience in the industrial and energy sector with a solid network.
• Knowledge of industrial energy and process installations, with a bias toward energy optimization and sustainable tech.
• Experience with sustainability certifications is an advantage.
• You have started and grown a team or business.
• You are skilled at presenting and reporting and can influence stakeholders.
• Independent operating consultant who can direct colleagues and projects.
• Coaching young professionals comes naturally.
• You can manage the full commercial process with customers.
• Willing to travel occasionally and fluency in English; Bahasa Indonesia preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary projects with clients in complex industrial environments.
• Deliver feasibility studies and conceptual designs for energy systems.
• Advise on energy efficiency, decarbonization and sustainable generation with financial viability considered.
• Act as team leader, recruiting, guiding and coaching new members.
• Translate latest tech and market developments into practical roadmaps.
• Identify client needs, co-create solution directions, and translate into projects.
• Work with data and analytics to strengthen deliverables and recommendations.
• Present to stakeholders at multiple management levels with clear reports.
• Collaborate across sustainability, process and engineering disciplines for integrated solutions.
• Build and expand professional networks to generate new assignments.
