Job summary

PT PERSOL RECRUITMENT INDONESIA in Jakarta is seeking a Data Scientist for a contract-based position working full-time on-site. The role focuses on building data pipelines, ETL/ELT solutions, and data integration to support analytics and decision-making.

You will leverage SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and RESTful APIs, with experience in Airflow for scheduling and Talend/SSIS for ETL tools. Strong data governance and warehousing knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Integration, with proven experience in migrating unstructured data (Excel/CSV) into centralized relational databases.
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing large-scale (enterprise-level) ETL/ELT solutions.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL, including Stored Procedures, Indexing, Query Optimization, and complex SQL development.
• Proficient in writing advanced SQL queries for large-scale data processing and transformation.
• Strong Python programming skills for data processing and automation, particularly using Pandas, NumPy, and related integration frameworks.
• Experience in consuming and developing RESTful APIs.
• Solid experience with ETL tools such as Talend (preferred) or SSIS.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow for scheduling and managing data pipelines.
• Good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, including Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and Data Modeling.
• Knowledge of Data Governance practices, including Data Lineage, Data Cataloging, Metadata Management, and automated data quality validation.
