Job summary

Scarlett Indonesia is seeking a Data Engineer to build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines from diverse sources into a central data warehouse. You will design scalable data models, ensure data quality, and enable BI/reporting for business insights.

You will collaborate with analysts and IT teams, optimize queries, and document data architectures while supporting cloud platforms and data governance practices to drive informed decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Data Engineering or related field with 3–4 years of experience.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, performance optimization, and data modeling.
• Hands-on ETL/ELT experience with tools like SSIS, Talend, Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or equivalent.
• Familiar with databases/data warehouses (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, BigQuery) and API integration for data consolidation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines from databases, apps and APIs to the data warehouse.
• Design and manage data warehouse structures and data models.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and availability across ecosystems.
• Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot data process failures.
• Publish datasets/reports to internal BI/reporting portal and maintain documentation.
