Job summary

MatchaTalent, on behalf of our client, seeks a senior Data Center Project Director to lead end-to-end delivery of multi-million-dollar data center infrastructure projects in Jakarta. You will oversee governance, budget control, risk management, and cross-functional coordination with engineering, EPC, commissioning, and operations teams, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and contractual compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or IT field.
• PMP/PgMP/PRINCE2 or equivalent certification preferred.
• 10+ years in project delivery and large-scale infrastructure.
• 3–5 years leading data center projects with 500+ racks.
• Experience coordinating EPC/EPCM contractors and multi-vendor teams.
• Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure and standards.
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale data center projects.
• Develop delivery strategies aligned with contracts and objectives.
• Manage budgets, profitability, and commercial reporting.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams across EPC, commissioning, ops, and vendors.
• Identify risks, implement mitigations, and resolve escalations.
• Oversee contract administration, variations, and change management.
• Ensure compliance with quality, HSE, and customer specs.
• Build relationships with customers, consultants, and suppliers.
