Funding Societies | Modalku, Southeast Asia's leading SME digital finance platform, is seeking a regional Credit Risk analyst to join the Credit Risk team. You will own portfolio analytics and provide actionable insights to senior stakeholders.

You will collaborate with country teams, data science, and collections to monitor risk, validate data, and support risk governance with monthly packs and board materials. This role offers a fast-paced environment and meaningful impact.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in credit risk analytics.
• Familiar with ASEAN regulations and data landscape.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Advanced MS Excel with vintage/cohort analyses.
• Strong SQL; Python is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsabilidades

• NPL and delinquency trend analysis to track credit quality.
• Recovery and write-off performance tracking, including legacy vs current book.
• Portfolio concentration analysis by borrower, industry, product, country.
• ECL/provisioning coverage analysis and drivers of MoM movement.
• Monthly monitoring of risk metrics against RAS thresholds with root-cause analysis.
• Apply trend checks to flag unusual movements early.
• Maintain data accuracy and reconcile across sources and country teams.
• Explain the 'why' behind portfolio movements, not just the numbers.
• Respond to ad hoc data requests from country teams or finance.
• Collaborate with data science on scorecards or risk models.
• Liaise with collections on NPL resolution status.
• Support fraud-adjacent credit risk flags when needed.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly risk packs and dashboards.
• Maintain documentation for risk monitoring framework.
• Prepare materials for Board Risk Committee and senior reviews.
