Funding Societies | Modalku, Southeast Asia's leading SME digital finance platform, is hiring a Credit Analyst in Surabaya. You will evaluate customers’ data and financial documents to assess risk and support compliant lending decisions, helping safeguard the portfolio and drive responsible growth.

In a data‑driven team, you will prepare detailed reports for the loan committee, identify mitigation actions, and contribute to ongoing risk stewardship.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience as Credit Analyst in banking or peer-to-peer lending.
• Strong understanding of business financial statements and analytical thinking.
• Detail oriented with strong verification and critical thinking skills.
• Professional and positive attitude with team members and clients.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate customer's data and financial documents to assess risk.
• Conduct document and information checks as part of credit assessment.
• Prepare spreadsheets and reports for the loan committee.
• Identify and propose mitigation actions for all risks.
• Provide opinions and recommendations to Credit Committee per policy.
• Track loan covenants to ensure compliance and assist others.
