Job summary

Sccsinternational is seeking a site-based senior commercial and contractual representative for an expansion of a rotary kiln electric furnace nickel smelter in Indonesia. The role requires independent operation on site, governance of EPC and major supply contracts, and interpretation of contract terms.

You will manage claims, changes, disputes avoidance and contractual risk while maintaining productive relations with the owner, EPC contractor, suppliers and Chinese organisations.

Qualifications

• Senior commercial and contractual representative on site for EPC/major supply contracts.
• Experience negotiating across cultures with Chinese EPC contractors and suppliers.
• Ability to govern, oversee claims, changes and risk in large overseas projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage, administer, monitor and interpret EPC and major supply contracts.
• Provide commercial oversight and contract governance on site.
• Lead claims management, change management and dispute avoidance.
• Mitigate contractual risk while maintaining relations with owner, contractor and suppliers.
