Job summary

Intrepid Asia is seeking a highly creative Content Strategist to shape brand storytelling, write scripts and captions, and spot trends to keep content fresh and effective. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, translating insights into compelling content for social commerce across SEA.

The role requires a passion for words, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities in a dynamic digital landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant copywriting experience (internships included).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A strong portfolio showcasing storytelling, social content, or campaign work.
• Strong understanding of TikTok culture, trends, and tone.
• Ability to identify trends and translate insights into content ideas.
• Basic ability to interpret content performance data and apply insights to copywriting.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Passion for pop culture, fashion, lifestyle, and digital storytelling.
• Strong command of Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end short-form video strategies across platforms (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts).
• Conceptualize and write engaging scripts with strong hooks and storyboards.
• Translate creative ideas into performance-driven content with clear messaging.
• Identify trends and adapt content to UGC-style storytelling and trends.
• Conduct trendspotting, audience analysis, and competitor benchmarking.
• Utilize Excel for data analysis, reporting, and performance tracking.
• Create structured reports and presentations with performance summaries and recommendations.
• Collaborate with creative, production, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive execution.
