Job summary

Our client, a Construction Company in Jakarta, is seeking a Procurement Director to lead all procurement activities for high-rise projects. The role requires strategic sourcing, supplier development, and major contract negotiations to support project execution.

The successful candidate will oversee budgets, risk management, and governance while coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Business English proficiency, both spoken and written, for technical communication.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Procurement GM in the high-rise construction industry, with a track record in vendor sourcing, supplier development, contract negotiation, and procurement strategy implementation.
• Willing to travel as needed.
• Stable career history.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, analytical thinking, stakeholder management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills with a strategic and results-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and oversee all stages of project execution including schedule, budget, quality, and human resources.
• Coordinate and liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
• Prepare and monitor the project budget plan, including Bill of Quantities and Budget Estimate.
• Lead project progress meetings and prepare periodic reports for management.
• Manage project risks and develop mitigation solutions.
• Supervise on-site quality of interior works, wall treatments, custom furniture, and signage/branding installations.
• Handle project handover processes and manage milestone/progress billing to clients.
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards across all project sites.
• Other responsibilities as needed.
