Job summary

additiv is seeking a Senior CloudOps Engineer to operate Azure production environments for APAC during business hours. You will support go-lives, hypercare, and coordinate incident resolution with SL2 and the European CloudOps team.

You will work with AKS, networking, Front Door/WAF, API Management, and monitoring tools; implement IaC changes, and contribute to reliability improvements. Strong English and cross-team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on CloudOps/DevOps experience with ownership of operational tasks
• Experience operating production workloads on Microsoft Azure
• Experience with AKS/Kubernetes, Azure networking, Front Door/WAF, API Management, Azure SQL, storage, Key Vault, Monitor and Log Analytics
• Experience with incident management, troubleshooting, change control and release support
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code and automation (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, PowerShell, Bash or Python)
• Proficient in interpreting telemetry data to investigate degradation and alerts
• Experience with .NET/ASP.NET, Web Services, SQL, RabbitMQ, Redis
• Strong documentation and coordination skills; professional English fluency
• APAC-hours coverage with a careful, automation-focused mindset

• Monitor service health, capacity, availability and alerts; coordinate incident resolution with SL2, European CloudOps and application teams
• Support Azure platform components (AKS, networking, Front Door/WAF, API Management, SQL, storage, Key Vault, monitoring)
• Implement approved infrastructure and configuration changes per procedures
• Contribute to root-cause analysis and preventive actions for production reliability
• Improve operations through scripting, IaC, runbooks and automation
• Maintain documentation for production environments and configurations
• Enhance observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana and OpenTelemetry where applicable

About this role

We are seeking a senior CloudOps Engineer to operate and improve Azure production services for APAC customer environments. The role provides regional CloudOps capability during APAC business hours, supports production go-lives and hypercare, and coordinates incident resolution with SL2 and the European CloudOps team.

Your responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and maintain Azure production environments during APAC business hours

• Support customer go-lives, production releases and hypercare, including deployment validation and rollback readiness

• Monitor service health, capacity, availability and alerts; investigate incidents and coordinate resolution with SL2, European CloudOps, application teams and relevant third parties

• Support Azure platform components, including AKS, networking, Azure Front Door/WAF, API Management, databases, storage, Key Vault and monitoring services

• Implement approved infrastructure and configuration changes in accordance with change-management, security and operational procedures

• Contribute to root-cause analysis, preventive actions and improvements to production reliability

• Improve operations through scripting, infrastructure as code, runbooks and appropriate automation

• Maintain accurate documentation for production environments, operating procedures and customer-specific configurations

• Contribute to observability and alerting improvements using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana and OpenTelemetry-based telemetry where applicable

Your qualifications, skills and experience

• At least 5 years of hands-on CloudOps, DevOps, infrastructure or production-operations experience, including senior-level ownership of operational tasks
• Practical experience operating production workloads on Microsoft Azure
• Experience with several of the following: AKS/Kubernetes, Azure networking, Azure Front Door/WAF, API Management, Azure SQL, storage, Key Vault, Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
• Experience with incident management, production troubleshooting, change control and release support
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code and automation, such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, PowerShell, Bash or Python
• Ability to interpret monitoring and telemetry data to investigate service degradation and operational alerts
• Experience with .NET, ASP.NET (MVC, Web API), Web Services, SQL, RabbitMQ, Redis
• Strong documentation, communication and coordination skills across time zones and teams; professional fluency in English
• A careful, risk-aware approach to production changes, a strong sense of ownership, and an automation-oriented mindset
• The role provides APAC-hours coverage
