Job summary

Devopsroles seeks a Senior CloudOps Engineer to operate and improve Azure production services for APAC customer environments. You will own operational tasks during APAC hours, support go-lives and hypercare, and coordinate incident resolution with SL2 and the European CloudOps team.

You will implement infrastructure changes, contribute to root-cause analysis, and push for automation improvements across monitoring and observability tools.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CloudOps/DevOps with senior ownership of operational tasks.
• Practical experience operating production workloads on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with several: AKS/Kubernetes, Azure networking, Azure Front Door/WAF, API Management, Azure SQL, storage, Key Vault, Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Experience with incident management, production troubleshooting, change control and release support.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code and automation: Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, PowerShell, Bash or Python.
• Ability to interpret monitoring/telemetry data to investigate service degradation and operational alerts.
• Experience with .NET, ASP.NET (MVC, Web API), Web Services, SQL, RabbitMQ, Redis.
• Strong documentation, communication and coordination across time zones and teams; fluency in English.
• Risk-aware approach to production changes; automation-oriented mindset.
• APAC-hours coverage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor service health, capacity, availability and alerts; investigate incidents and coordinate resolution with SL2, European CloudOps, application teams and third parties.
• Support Azure components including AKS, networking, Front Door/WAF, API Management, Azure SQL, storage, Key Vault and monitoring services.
• Implement approved infrastructure and configuration changes per change-management, security and operational procedures.
• Contribute to root-cause analysis, preventive actions and improvements to production reliability.
• Improve operations through scripting, infrastructure as code, runbooks and automation.
• Maintain accurate documentation for production environments and configurations.
• Contribute to observability/alerting improvements using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana, OpenTelemetry.

The role provides regional CloudOps capability during APAC business hours, supports production go-lives and hypercare, and coordinates incident resolution with SL2 and the European CloudOps team.

• Operate, monitor and maintain Azure production environments during APAC business hours

• Support customer go-lives, production releases and hypercare, including deployment validation and rollback readiness

• Monitor service health, capacity, availability and alerts; investigate incidents and coordinate resolution with SL2, European CloudOps, application teams and relevant third parties

• Support Azure platform components, including AKS, networking, Azure Front Door/WAF, API Management, databases, storage, Key Vault and monitoring services

• Implement approved infrastructure and configuration changes in accordance with change-management, security and operational procedures

• Contribute to root-cause analysis, preventive actions and improvements to production reliability

• Improve operations through scripting, infrastructure as code, runbooks and appropriate automation

• Maintain accurate documentation for production environments, operating procedures and customer‑specific configurations

• Contribute to observability and alerting improvements using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana and OpenTelemetry‑based telemetry where applicable

• At least 5 years of hands‑on CloudOps, DevOps, infrastructure or production‑operations experience, including senior‑level ownership of operational tasks
• Practical experience operating production workloads on Microsoft Azure
• Experience with several of the following: AKS/Kubernetes, Azure networking, Azure Front Door/WAF, API Management, Azure SQL, storage, Key Vault, Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
