Job summary

PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk is hiring a Civil Engineering Manager in Karawang, West Java. The role leads civil design delivery, reviews calculations, and mentors a multidisciplinary team across infrastructure and buildings.

You will ensure compliance with codes and standards, drive design innovation, and manage budgets and resource planning while coordinating with stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record delivering commercial, residential, or industrial projects.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in construction management administration.
• High integrity and strong data/reporting skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and design software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of civil engineering designs, technical documentation, part specifications, and design standards.
• Oversee detailed engineering calculations, structural analyses, and technical plans.
• Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team across departments.
• Conduct trend research and foster innovation in design processes and materials.
• Ensure documentation, version control, and compliance for all changes and drawings.
• Evaluate team performance and conduct regular reviews aligning with company objectives.
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets, resources, and long-term planning.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes, safety protocols, and industry standards.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align on design and execution requirements.
• Supervise use of civil engineering software tools and ensure team proficiency.
