Job summary

Smoore Technology Indonesia is seeking a seasoned Continuous Improvement professional to establish and evolve our CI framework, govern end-to-end CI projects, and drive cross-functional improvements across our manufacturing operations in Jawa Timur.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering with 5+ years in CI/Lean roles, strong data-analysis skills, and excellent English communication to coordinate with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (S1) or higher, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven professional experience in Continuous Improvement (CI), Lean Manufacturing, or Operational Excellence.
• Proficient in Lean methodologies and Six Sigma tools, including Value Stream Mapping (VSM), line balancing, and root-cause analysis.
• Demonstrated experience in managing successful projects related to productivity enhancement, cost reduction/optimization, and yield rate improvement.
• Exceptional logical reasoning and highly structured, organized thinking. Able to analyze complex operational data and synthesize issues into clear, actionable frameworks.
• Excellent cross-departmental coordination skills with good command of English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and continuously enhance the CI framework to drive the successful implementation of operational mechanisms.
• Oversee and manage the CI project pipeline, taking full ownership of project sourcing, evaluation, business case initialization, and end-to-end progress tracking.
• Drive cross-functional improvement initiatives, effectively coordinating resources across departments to ensure successful project delivery.
• Lead production efficiency enhancement initiatives, focusing on line balancing, quick changeover (SMED), and downtime reduction.
• Champion shop-floor improvement projects aimed at reducing scrap rates, increasing manufacturing yield rates, and optimizing operational workflows.
• Promote CI training programs, develop internal talent, and foster a sustainable culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
