Job summary

SCG Indonesia is seeking a Production Engineer to join our manufacturing operations. You will help ensure production runs safely, efficiently, and to high quality, while monitoring processes and driving continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with maintenance, quality and cross-functional teams to minimize downtime, analyze data, and implement lean projects. This role offers growth toward senior engineering or operational excellence within SCG.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or related roles; strong internships also considered.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English for effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production operations to ensure output meets quality and efficiency targets.
• Analyze process data and identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to minimize downtime and resolve production issues.
• Support trials of new materials, methods, or technologies to improve performance.
• Prepare regular reports on production results, losses, and improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards in all production activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement projects.
