Job summary

Bina Nusantara University is seeking a Building Management Manager for Syahdan, Kijang & BC in Jakarta. The role covers overall building management, daily operations, maintenance, safety, and clinic processes to ensure smooth facility performance.

The candidate will develop annual work plans, supervise staff across maintenance, security, and janitorial services, and coordinate emergency plans and contractor oversight. Bachelor's degree and extensive supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree (S1) is required.
• Minimum 3 years working experience in supervisory level, or minimum 7 years working experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish annual work plan for the overall building management.
• Plan working strategy in the related building management coverage.
• Initiate various programs to support the effectiveness of the department.
• Responsible for the day-to-day running and maintenance of the building.
• Manage, plan, coordinate and monitor physical, environmental and security conditions and general maintenance of building facilities.
• Prepare and update emergency and disaster response plans for assigned buildings.
• Lead and participate in the implementation of emergency plans in appropriate situations.
• Supervise employees in maintenance, janitorial, security and other service activities.
• Perform periodic inspections of buildings and equipment to ensure adequacy of services and safety procedures.
• Monitor contracts for housekeeping, security, landscape and maintenance; work with officials to resolve problems from contractor performance.
• Maintain cooperative relations with occupants and address complaints.
• Regulate operation and building service rules.
• Monitor communication processes and enforce building operation regulations.
• Manage clinic operations processes.
• Manage lost and found within respective buildings.
• Maintain accurate inventory of equipment, furniture, and facilities.
• Create inspection system and assess damages for rooms and equipment.
• Control distribution and borrowing of room keys.
• Establish procedures to issue and return building equipment.
• Coordinate setup and takedown of areas for events.
• Provide Operational Reports to the GA Director.
• Suggest improvements to Maintenance Engineering & Building Operations.
