Job summary

PT Bahtera Bumi Raya seeks an experienced business development professional to lead supplier relationships in Indonesia for nickel ore and coal. You will manage export and domestic trading, identify new opportunities, and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and partners across mining sites.

The role requires at least five years in coal/nickel mining, fluency in Mandarin, Indonesian and English, strong negotiation and communication skills, and willingness to travel extensively with business

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in coal and/or nickel mining industries.
• Proficient in Mandarin, Indonesian, and English, both spoken and written.
• Strong business negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Good understanding of local mining suppliers, coal trading, and export/domestic trading operations.
• Willing to travel frequently to mining sites and accompany business leaders on business trips.

Responsibilities

• Develop, establish, and manage relationships with local Indonesian suppliers for nickel ore and coal businesses.
• Manage coal export and domestic trading operations, ensuring smooth business transactions and coordination.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within coal and nickel mining sectors.
• Lead business negotiations with suppliers and partners to secure favorable terms.
• Monitor business performance and ensure profitability targets are achieved.
• Accompany business leaders on trips and provide interpretation during meetings and negotiations.
