Job summary

STEDI Talent Solution is recruiting a Technical Lead / Forward Deployed Engineer for a US-based AI company serving the construction industry. You will design, implement, and integrate backend systems while engaging directly with customers to understand environments and translate needs into scalable solutions.

This role requires 10+ years in backend development, hands-on AI tooling experience, and strong English communication, with flexibility to work across US time zones.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of backend software engineering or related senior technical roles.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf or similar.
• Business/Professional level English proficiency; strong communication with international customers.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and improve backend systems, services, and integrations.
• Work with customers to understand environments, requirements, and challenges.
• Analyze architectures and fit new functionality into existing systems.
• Collaborate across APIs, databases, data pipelines, and third-party integrations; troubleshoot complex issues.
• Assess complexity, dependencies, risks, and effort; translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to implement solutions and resolve issues.
• Explain technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Own customer problems from initial investigation to resolution.
